People on a Family pass come as their own group and cannot count as towards the 10 people required to get the Group Rate for another group.
Yes! Black Stump offers concession for holders of a valid HEALTH CARE CARD. Please email info@blackstump.org.au for more infomation. Please note that a concession discount is only valid for WEEKEND PASSES and not DAY PASSES. Concession discounts may also be used by individuals in a group booking to receive a discount off their own pass within the group.
The definition of a "family" is basically a family that lives in the one household: parents/guardians and DEPENDANT kids. Non-related kids such as foster kids may count but "a good friend of my son's" doesn’t and needs to be a separate ticket on top of the family rate. Everyone in the Family Pass must be in the same immediate family.
A Family group will be charged the normal ticket prices, but the total price will be capped at the Family rate. Dependant student-age children ARE eligible to enter on a family pass provided they are not employed in a capacity enabling them to be self sufficient. This may include part time employment.
We understand this is a grey area and thank you for your support and judgement. Black Stump is a not-for-profit organisation which relies almost entirely on the good will of our supporters.
You get an awesome 4 days of Australia's best Christian Music, Arts and Teaching including camping and use of amenities. Basically, once you're in the gate there are NO EXTRA CHARGES for anything listed in the Program.
All the music, all the shows, entry into all the venues as well as the Bible Studies and Workshop Electives are "all included in the price". The only thing you'll need to pay for is any food or merchandise you choose to buy...
(There may be other specific activities that will cost, but they will be advertised).
Simple! Just get onto the TICKETS page and create a new Ticket Order by clicking "Create New Ticket Group".
Add yourself to the order and make sure you enter the unique code that's on your voucher.
You can add other people if you like. When you're ready, click "Submit and Pay for this Ticket Order." You'll be asked some final questions - and for payment details if you've added any tickets that need payment.
Just follow the instructions and your tickets will soon be ordered!
As a general rule, tickets purchased are non-refundable. You may on-sell your on ticket in the event you are not able to attend the festival as planned.
In some circumstances, unpresented tickets may be exchanged for a ticket to the following years Festival. This is subject to approval and may attract an administration charge.
Brochures are available NOW and we'd love to send you as many as you need! All you have to do is go to our brochures page on the website and log the quantity you require. Brochures and posters are also now available to download from the Download section of the website.
E-Tickets will be sent by e-mail to the person who purchases a group of tickets. It is then up to them to distribute the e-tickets to all ticket holders.
To gain entry to Black Stump, you will need to bring a printout of your e-ticket.
Each e-ticket may only be used once for entry into the festival, so it is important that you do not let anybody else copy or print your e-ticket.
Please ensure that regos@blackstump.org.au is added to your list of safe senders to avoid your E-Ticket heading to your Junk Mail folder.
This link doesn't go live usually until early September, when we e-mail out e-tickets and switch on the system that allows for the downloading of e-tickets.
Once e-tickets go live, you will see a "Download E-Ticket Package" link displayed once:
If you have elected to pay by cheque or direct deposit, your e-tickets will not become available until we have received your payment.
Black Stump is a CAMPING FESTIVAL so you must bring your own tent, sleeping gear and food. Don't forget a towel (there ARE showers on-site) and a few changes of clothes. Come prepared for warm days and chilly nights. Don't forget basic things like sunnies, sunblock and some wet weather gear. The STORM might not be in the Grand Final on the weekend, but its not unheard of for a storm to turn up at Black Stump!
Open fires are NOT permitted so a gas cooker/BBQ would be ideal. Make sure you bring a full gas bottle as there are no refill facilities on-site (oh and don't forget the matches). There are also plenty of places to buy food in the Village if your cooking skills leave a little to be desired...
If you're not into the loud music (or just want to get some sleep) we normally sell earplugs at a reasonable price from the First Aid Station. It would be excellent if you threw in your Bible as well... Don't forget your cash to buy that "must have" Stump t-shirt or CD from your fave Stump band. A camera to capture great Stump memories is a must!
Yes! EFTPOS and cash-out facilities are available at Stump Shop. EFTPOS is available for ticket purchases at the gate also.
A wide variety of food stalls operate at Black Stump all in one central location known as The Village. We have large venues such as The Supper Club offering café-style food, along with the One World Café, the Mars Hill Café, Pizza, Kebabs and Donuts as well as snack style food and drinks.
The actual list of stalls can change from year to year so check the VENUES page from the website. There are regulars that Stump wouldn't be the same without - like Plunge, the Baptist Donut Tent.
Unfortunately NO! There is some (very limited) power available for essential use only at selected campsites.
POWERED CARAVAN sites are available at a small extra charge. These are pre-booked when you purchase your tickets.
If you have medical equipment or similar that requires 'charging' etc then - yes - electricity is available. You MUST let registrations know of your requirements prior to arriving at the Festival - Call 1300 304 368 or email: admin@blackstump.org.au
The Equestrian Centre has very good disabled facilities and access to all venues is possible.
Camping options include general camping, a low noise, family camping site, and a limited number of powered caravan sites (at a small extra charge).
You will be asked to specify the camping desired when you purchase your ticket. Load and unload access is very good, but cars will be parked in designated car parks for the weekend and not kept beside your vehicle (except specific camping vehicles).
Camping areas have limited shade so please come prepared! Please note that sleeping in cars is not permited.
What!?!? And miss out on all that fun?
If camping isn't your kind of thing, the venue is close to a bunch of hotels of various levels. Being located just off the M7, its convenient for those Sydney based folk who want to commute. See the SIEC website for their list of suggested accomodation options.
Applications to perform at Stump 2010 have now CLOSED. Keep an eye out for info on how to apply for Stump 2011.
We are currently sorting through the Expressions of Interest and will endeavour to let people know by the end of July.
There are a few possible explanations for this, but the most common is that when they say they're coming to Black Stump it means they've been invited to play! But Black Stump won't actually advertise anyone until they have formally accepted the invitation and send back the form that we've sent them. So, bug your band!
Yes, Kid Stump, as we like to call it, runs for kids aged 5 - 12 years old . Sorry, we do not have facilities to cater for children younger than 5. Registrations for the Kids Stump programme will be available prior to the weekend or on Friday 1st October. The Kids Stump Registration Desk will be located near Main Stage. Look out for our orange Kids Stump signs!
Please note that children must be currently attending School and be in Kindergarten to Year 6. Unfortunately we cannot cater for Pre-School or Prep students.
KID STUMP is held in it's own venue where the kids attending need to be signed in and out - it's NOT a drop-in style activity. It is filled with great teaching, fun activities, arts & crafts, sports and other cool things. A great team of experienced leaders provide a safe level of supervision in a great Christian environment.
Each day the kids will experience something new and exciting all centred around fun life adventures as they search for ways in which God impacts their lives. They'll even have their own fun worship time on Sunday morning.
No - The prgramme itself is free. Lunch is supplied for the children and there may be a small charge to cover this.
